Emer O’Neill, Project Coordinator
Appointed Project Coordinator in July 2009, Emer has over 5 years experience with Off the Street. Emer is responsible for the operational management of the Street Works team as funded under the BIG Lottery ‘Reaching Communities’ Fund. Emer also facilitates support for hard to reach groups including the roll out of school based programmes at St. Brigid’s College. A graduate of University of Ulster, Emer is committed to supporting and improving the lives of young people in the Greater Shantallow Area.

Elisha McLaughlin - Finance / Administrative Officer
Elisha is responsible for the day-to-day financial and administrative functions within Off the Street. As a local resident Elisha's knowledge of the area and the issues facing the Greater Shantallow Area is a great asset to our work. Her previous roles have included working with Galliagh Development Trust as finance officer and Galliagh Integrated Advice Service. She is married and has two children.

Jacki Connolly - Millennium Volunteer Coordinator
Jacki has recently been appointed to the role of Millennium Volunteer Project Corodinator. Jacki is reponsible for the recruitment, support and development of Millennium Volunteers. She processes ACESS NI clearance for all prospective volunteers. Jacki works closely with Emer as Project Coordinator in managing and coordinating volunteer support for the Greater Shantallow Area Youth Forum and the Street Works project.

Conchúr McCauley, Street Worker
Conchúr is a well respected and well known Youth Worker. He brings with him substantial experience of the Greater Shantallow Area including an in depth understanding of the issues of facing young people. Conchúr is currently undertaking his undergraduate degree in Youth & Community Work at the University of Ulster. Most of Conchúr’s free time is dedicated to working with young people in the Greater Shantallow Area. Conchúr is a past participant of Off the Street.

Lyndsay Williams, Street Worker
Lyndsay has been involved with Off the Street for 11 years, both as a participant and volunteer and as a member of the Street Works team. Her level of understanding of street work means that she applies her experience into practice. Lyndsay holds a degree in Sociology & Social Policy from the University of Ulster. Lyndsay has previously lived in the Bracken Park area, and having participated in the project, Lyndsay is well placed to engage and respond to needs of young people. Lyndsay is also trained in Child Protection and Safe Talk.

Aileen Mellon, Street Worker
Aileen comes from the Moss Park area. She is well known by local residents and young people. Having built up positive relationships with her peers through her involvement with Off the Street and other youth led initiatives. Aileen is a member of the Galliagh Development Trust and has represented Off the Street on a number of issues including mental health, suicide and other issues. Aileen is pursuing a degree programme of study in Youth & Community Work based at the Magee Campus, University of Ulster. Aileen holds a Level 3 OCN Peer Educator certification.

Damien Coyle, Street Worker
Damien comes to Off the Street having volunteered with the Street Works team. His practical approach to street work comes from having worked as a volunteer whilst gaining his Certificate in Youth Work. He is currently studying a degree in Youth & Community Work. Damien is a dedicated member of the team and his energy translates into displaying positive behaviours for young people. Damien’s other interests include playing competitive soccer.

Ruaigin NiChamonaigh, Street Worker
Ruaigin has been involved with Off the Street as a Volunteer and joined the Street Works team in October 2009. Ruaigin is also a Youth Worker based with St.Eithne’s Youth Club WELB controlled, and EXTERN. She holds an OCN in Youth Work Practice and is currently undertaking a Certificate in Youth & Community Work. She

Joe Doherty, Programmes Worker
Joe has previously worked as a Project Worker at the local drugs & alcohol charity, HURT. As a full time member of the Street Works, he provides programmes / resources support to the team. Joe is responsible for the monitoring and evaluating of the Street Works Project Outcomes. He also delivers risk awareness programmes at St.Brigid’s College. Joe is one of two Designated Child Protection Officers based at Off the Street. He holds a Business degree from the University of Ulster. Among his other certifications Joe is ASIST trained in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, Mental Health First Aid, and Stress Management, including OCN Level 1 & 2 Drugs / Alcohol.
